Members are encouraged to participate in competitions. This is a great way to see each others’ work and to receive independent critique on your work.
BPS has a number of internal competitions, with different classes to accommodate all participants from beginners, intermediates and those with more experience; something for everyone.
Some are for Projected Digital Images whilst others are for Prints. There is nothing quite like seeing an image printed in large form properly mounted and presented. The club is pleased to have some extremely talented print workers who are always keen to share their knowledge. The monthly Digital Group exists to provide non-competitive help and or critique whilst the quarterly Print Group allows similar exchange of ideas, tips and critique for printed images.
In addition to internal competitions, members are also encouraged to participate in external competitions at Federation or National level, either individually or as a club.
